Follow thread. I’m looking for a solution to selected multiple image on scan jpg , crop, and save those ones? Is it possible with Pixelmator? Thank you very much for your help and your time. Sat May 11, am Hey there, I assume you have one image file with several scanned images inside it? If so, here’s one fairly quick way of doing this: 1. Choose the Slice Tool shortcut: K key 2. Draw slices around each individual scanned image 3. Customize the export format in the Tool Options bar above your image I’d use PNG for things like this because I wouldn’t want the images to be additionally compressed Note that you need to customize and optionally rename each slice separately.
Click Export for Web when you’re done and choose a location to export the files. The Slice tool is meant more for slicing up designs for use on webpages but it should do a pretty good job for you too. Another option is simply using the Rectangular Marquee Tool to select each image, copy it, and create new images from it. In that case, the steps would be: 1. Choose the Rectangular Marquee Tool shortcut: M key 2.
Draw selections around each individual scanned image 3. The Clipboard preset should be selected, so you won’t have to set the image size yourself, click OK 6. Though what’s great about the Slice tool is you can easily resize slices and export multiple images at once. With a selection, you can transform it, but it’s not quite as simple. Anyway, hope this helps! Sat May 11, pm Hi Andrius, Thank you very much for your help.

To reproduce: 1. Select the whole image with the slice tool 3. Slice 1. Looks like this feature could do with a bit of testing.

Without the batch feather this new algorithm is useless for my work. Thu Jan 23, pm I can now reveal that an “Increase Resolution of Images” action is currently in development so you’ll be able to do this in the not too distant future. Thu Mar 26, pm Hi, any estimate on this? I also have a huge batch of images to upscale with with ML.
Thu Mar 26, pm Automator actions for ml resolution was already added Thu Mar 26, pm thanks! They created a new action “Increase resolution of images”. Thu Mar 26, pm Yep, it was added in the most recent update, Pixelmator Pro 1.
Mon Mar 15, am Great, but How can I do that? How can I add PM actions to Automator in the first place? Thanks Ulli. Mon Mar 15, pm Thanks Aurelia, I’ve managed in the meantime! And realised which were the PM actions.
Thu Mar 18, pm Thanks Aurelija, I’ve done this and saved my first automation to the folder with my files. When I double clicked it, Automator wanted to install it. But I could open it the “open with”. As I had saved it twice I deleted this, but I cannot find the name of the workflow file. And I do not dare to close the workflows, because I don’t know where i would find them again. If I type the name it does not show up in the library.
I can re-open them only with recent documents. So where are the workflows stored on a Mac? Thank you in advance. Thu Mar 18, pm I’ve found a solution creating a folder Automator Workflow. And I exported my workflows to this folder.
